Symposium: Debunking Waste To Energy Incineration
- In-person: Malaysia; Livestream: FB
- Consumers’ Association of Penang, Sahabat Alam Malaysia, and GAIA organized a symposium debunking waste-to-energy (WtE) incineration. Climate experts came together in Malaysia and online to share the latest knowledge on WtE in Asia-Pacific & Europe. A Zero Waste Exhibition and Marketplace was also held at the venue to promote local Zero Waste initiatives.
Zero Waste Exhibition and Marketplace: Zero Food Waste as Climate Action
- Co-organized by Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall-Youth Section (KLSCAH Youth) and Hara Makers.
- An art exhibit joined and developed by different organizations: Hara Makers, Eco Sustainable Resources, Zero Waste Malaysia, Anjez Art Project, and Gabungan Penduduk Batu Arang.
