Launching the Refill Store in 2 areas in Gresik Regency (Indonesia)

Today, 18 January 2024, ECOTON held its second launch of refill store in Gresik Regency. The event aims to mainstream the use of reusable materials, provide an alternatives to consumers, and decrease waste generation.  

 

Heal without Waste Campaign Caravan (Philippines)

As part of the Zero Waste Month celebration, Health Care Without Harm – Asia is organizing the Heal without Waste Campaign Caravan. The caravan aims to raise awareness about the critical need to go plastic-free in healthcare, understanding the impact on our environment, and emphasizing the role hospitals can play in detoxifying the planet. The first part of the caravan was held today, 18 January 2024, at James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital. 

 

Garbage Picking in Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Government College

Second year BS Biology students of Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Government College conducted garbage picking activity in Pasalamat Drag Race Venue and Balangasan Creek as part of the Zero Waste Month.
