ASEAN Youth Masterclass: Achieving Zero Waste Future (Southeast Asia)
Organized by the ASEAN Youth Organization, the ASEAN Youth Masterclass: Achieving Zero Waste Future started today, 19 January 2024, and will run until 21 January 2024. The event aims to provide training to selected youth leaders to increase their awareness and understanding of waste issues at the national and global levels. The event also involves an upskilling program to maximize the potential of youth leaders to campaign on waste issues in ASEAN and beyond.
Plastic-Free Future: Reuse Revolution – Culminating Event (Philippines)
Mother Earth Foundation held the culminating activity of Plastic-Free Future: Reuse Revolution, a week long campaign focusing on reuse systems and single-use plastics, among others.
Household Segregation Campaign (Kenya)
The Kisumu Waste Pickers Welfare Association (KIWAPWA) distributed buckets to community members in Obunga toemphasize the importance of segregation at source and to make waste collection easier for waste pickers.
